RISE FOR ME

2013

The dead were calling me and I thought they would give me peace. How wrong was I?
I went to the abandoned cemetery were 50 odds graves were battling nature quietly. I walk to each of them whispering their name, thinking of their departure often so premature, trying to grasp the peace in their rest.
It was vain, my torment increased and no raven came to comfort me.
I left the departed behind and went to the shore to hear the ocean and they were all there waiting for me, their spirits soring towards the darkening sky.
They sang and screamed, crawled on the cliff and raised more energy in me than I had for many weeks. Some were upset and violent but most were caring.
It is all about to change for a while…and change is good.
