STEALING YOUR BREATH

Naufrage1 S

Running form the adults, hiding in all the unseen corners, deep in the folded corners of their minds…

They could never find me. I follow the path of all the warriors and maidens where ship wrecks opened their bellies bursting with treasures. Down the cliff where hands carved their struggle for life, I saw your arms shining. This is where I met you. You were under the surface waiting patiently while I rummaged for your face amongst the survivors. I never could image how soft your lips would find mine as the ocean salt invaded my body. You and I were written long ago in the faded parchments unraveled down the edged of the primitive world.
