“The vision of time is broad, but when you pass through it, time becomes a narrow door.”
― Frank Herbert, Dune
Fear has made time stretch. Did we gain or lose?
A bit of both…
Nostalgia has its place in this book, it belongs in the sand lost in between times where ravens soar.
“The Fremen were supreme in that quality the ancients called “spannungsbogen” — which is the self-imposed delay between desire for a thing and the act of reaching out to grasp that thing.”
― Frank Herbert, Dune
Beautiful work, Agnes…..perfect quotes. The Dune series is one of my favorites.

Thank you Rob, Reading this serie was a turning point for me. I learned so much from Herbert’s work as a teen.

Dune was a favorite of mine with its descriptive and mesmerizing prose and the subtle psychologies that intertwined between characters as one plotted against another. Your imagery and words are no less intriguing than the desert planet and its spice.

The concept of time is one of the most powerful subject we could write about. The Spice is key.
